In 1925, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre visited family in Lucca, Italy. The two returned home to their native San Francisco with something very important: handwritten recipes, which they used to create authentic flavored syrups. The taste is good, doesn't have that chemical taste like the other 0 calorie sauce. It is thin, not exactly a sauce but still thicker than the syrup. I use it for my morning latte while trying to shed some pounds and don't feel like I'm depriving myself any like I did with the more chemical tasting syrups and sauces.

This is sugar free and 0 calories, it can't be the same as the regular stuff so I'm not sure why some people seem surprised that it isn't. The taste is good, doesn't have that chemical taste like the other 0 calorie sauce. It is thin, not exactly a sauce but still thicker than the syrup. I use it for my morning latte while trying to shed some pounds and don't feel like I'm depriving myself any like I did with the more chemical tasting syrups and sauces.

Taste is fine, but it is 100% not a sauce. It is the same consistency of water. I bought it expecting to use it to drizzle around the cup and on top, but it is pure liquid.
