Super soft and hardly noticeable on the beds. I needed something that can protect my sheets but also not make the mattresses uncomfortable and I found it. LEAK-PROOF TEST PASSED!!! I did a ton of research before buying this protector because I have an expensive mattress. When the product arrived, I was very skeptical that this thing would work because it was thinner than I expected so I gave it a test. I put the sheet on the mattress (btw which fitted perfectly) and then I poured a FULL GLASS of water (yep, a whole glass!) and guess what? NOT EVEN A SINGLE DROP LEAKED THROUGH. I am so impressed! water could not get through even if you leave it there and the sheet acts like a barrier. After the test, I tossed it in the machine to give it a wash before use (that is what I would recommend) and tumble dried, just remember no heat when drying or you might mess up the waterproofing. I’m so glad I went with this one and the price is totally worth it. I am definitely getting the same brand again whenever I need one.
