I had oily skin for years, and a few years after moving to Arizona, my face has turned scaly, especially on my forehead. The dermatologist was no help, so I started searching out products on my own. I also have to look for gluten free products since I have Celiac disease, so these two products fit the bill. I apply this moisturizing cream after exfoliating with the scrub at nighttime before bed. The scent is different - not necessarily bad, but something new to get used to. I only use it at night because it has a slightly oily finish. I choose Vanicream during the day under makeup. I get 2 liters of IV fluids every week and take two types of medications that are supposed to help me retain fluid and I still struggle with dehydration. Well, it’s winter time and when I had a friend come to visit I neglected to drink my daily recommended amount of water for one day. Wouldn’t you know it the next day Imdind out I am prone to what I can only guess is eczema! I had a rash covering my entire lower face, not just red but visible scales and everything. I looked like a snake getting ready to shed its skin. I tried my trusty coconut based lotion that has always been my go to. And it did nothing! I even tried to apply it like every hour, and nada. So I went Amazon, researched for hours on the best lotion and it was tough. My requirements were:- all natural, cruelty free, vegetarian- made specifically the face- made specifically dry skin- could not cost $40+- has to get here FASTI found two lotions. This one and second one. I actually bought the second one, but I had a last minute change of heart and so I canceled the order and got this one instead. I used this for ONE DAY. After the first application my face felt immediately better, after three applications in one day my scales were gone and by the second day the redness was gone. Even though my rash is gone I still use it every morning after I shower and let me tell you, my face is the softest I have ever felt it and it doesn’t feel dry all day long. You ‘now the saying as soft as a babies bottom, well I’m not going around feeling babies buts however their cheeks (on the face) are pretty soft too and my face is now at that level.I’m not one to spend a lot of money on a small bottle of anything, but if you need fast help with extreme dry skin do not even hesitate.
