Based on PAR meter measurements, they are best suited for germination or very young seedlings, not for stronger vegetative growth unless placed very close to the plants. In my setup I repurposed them strictly for germination trays where they perform adequately. To reach useful PPFD levels they need to be mounted only a few inches above the canopy. The physical design also has some drawbacks. The linking cable between lights is quite rigid, which makes it difficult to hide or manage cleanly if you hang the lights using chains. The listing suggests you can link multiple lights together, but the included cables only allow linking about four vertically. Beyond that, you’re forced to arrange them horizontally. That said, the company was very good to work with. They were responsive and professional when I reached out with questions about the product.
