Review: Quality product that will hold your large TV - This quality mount is well designed and built from strong materials. It moves easily and smoothly once installed. The instructions are minimal, but adequate - follow them. It is a lot of weight that you are hanging from your wall. Think about it, as the TV extends, the forces are multiplied (fulcrum). To test my install before hanging my TV, I hung from the extended arms (180 lbs) and not a creak from the mount. I added lock washers to the lag bolts, but that's just because I'm paranoid, probably not necessary. There is only one tool included in the package, a hex wrench, you will need the following if installing in wooden studs: drill, 1/4" drill bit, stud finder (if you don't own one, buy a good one with an a/c warning - you never know what's in the wall), socket wrench, screw driver, tape measure, level and pencil. The cable management in the back is only adequate, buy a roll of Velcro straps to secure cables and wires, they'll likely pop out of place otherwise. My install is in an alcove next to a fireplace, so I needed the extension. This mount doesn't disappoint, almost 32" and then you can turn side to side. Smooth and easy to do when watching, but flat against the wall when not in use and unobtrusive. For some reason, the description doesn't clearly mention that you can tilt the TV down 15 degrees and up 5. It does and works very well. Though it's easy to adjust, it's better to lock and leave. Installation: To do what I could by myself, I removed the arm mechanism, 6 screws and very easy. It slides out of the way and then you only have the mounting plate to bolt to the wall. One person can do this once you've drilled one or two pilot holes for the lags. Be sure it's level. You have some adjustment later, but not much, maybe half an inch. In my case the mount was not centered right to left on the wall, but that was easily done by moving the arm assembly to the left a few inches. Lock this in. Mount the TV assembly to the back of your set. This is easy and very flexible to get it centered on the back of the TV. Again, I added lock washers to be safe, up to you. You will install two of the hanging bolts that allow you to hang the mechanism onto the arm assembly, follow the instructions here, leaving them about 3/8" long. This is where you need two people. Hang the TV onto the arm assembly, additional bolts and wrench in you pocket or very handy, so you can easily bolt in the other two. Everything lines up easily and accurately. Tighten securely and you are done. On a side note, I added an electrical outlet just below the mount and fished the coax cable through the wall and out just below the mount. This way, cable box, roku and power cables can all be mounted on the wall behind my 65" TV. I highly recommend this approach for a clean look, no wires hanging down. If like me, you mounted this on an interior wall it's not that big a deal. But if you are not comfortable with electrical work, either hire an electrician or live with wires hanging down. You can't mount any of your gear onto the TV mount as it will interfere with it, but there is plenty of room above or below it. In my case, the TV doesn't quite lay flat to the wall, but very close, maybe a 1/2" more than if not, you won't notice it. The remotes all work fine with the gear behind the TV. For the cable box, I bought the Hideit mount, which is very thin and works great. For the tiny Roku box, I just used industrial Velcro and stuck it to the back of the TV (outer edge). There really isn't much room after all this for a DVD player, so I just put mine aside since I don't use it often, but can be plugged in easily if I do. I suppose if it's a small one it could be wall mounted on the top or bottom of the mount (opposite of the cable box) so the tray open sideways. Then just pull the TV out a bit and load your DVD. Once everything is in place, you can see if you have room or if it sticks out. If you have decent handyman skills, I would allow an hour for installation (just TV mount), but might be done in 30 minutes. It's not hard at all. Cable management probably takes longer than the install. If you add an outlet and mount cable box, etc. behind the TV, you're looking at several hours. This is a strong product that can easily hold your TV. Follow the instructions, don't over-tighten lags (firm, but not stripped) and it will be very secure. That's why I like lock washers, when they are compressed you know you are done. Very pleased and well worth the price.
Review: Great mount (Make sure you get the correct version for your stud spacing.) - I had studs spaced at 19" and I had to return the version for normal stud separation (AEON-45200) and replace it with the one (AEON-45250) which accomodates longer spacing. Measure your studs before ordering! It extends out a full 32" but only at flat orientation. If you want to go full 90 swing to the side, the separation from the wall becomes a few inches less. In my case it worked out, but if your screen is larger than 65" it will probably not do 90 degrees, ask the manufacturer for geometry. When folded flat in it is nice and close to the wall. The tilt control lever interferes with the extension arms when the panel is all the way back, but this can be worked around by putting in a couple of 1/4-20 bolts in the slot and leaving it's own lever loose. Summary: a very nice sturdy mount, I am quite happy with it.

## Features

- Reinforced steel articulating arm extends 28 inches away from the wall yet retracts to a slim 3.0 inch profile when closed. With a 28 inch extension and a single pivoting point you can swivel a 50 inch 90 degrees in either direction without hitting the wall. Ideal for when the placement of your studs is not in getting a perfectly placed arm the center of the location of where you want your TV to be placed on the wall.
- This mount passed a safety test ensuring it can hold 400 pounds without failure. The Aeon 40300 will safely hold your TV for a long time to come, without ever sagging as some less expensive mounts are known for. Reinforced metal construction and heavy-duty swivel joints ensure easy movement of the arms for the life of this mount.
- Room Centering allows you to adjust your TV to your liking - even if your studs aren't. You can slide the entire TV mount left or right to find the correct position for your TV; no longer do your studs decide for you. Post installation leveling allows you to adjust / level this mount after it is installed regardless of your application. Simply pivot the TV while it is still mounted on the wall to your liking and tighten in place.
- This mount installs on two 16 or 24 inch on center wood studs, concrete or masonry with the provided hardware. Caution, this mount is not recommended for installing directly onto drywall.
- This mount will fit most TVs from 37 to 70 inches in size and weighing up to 80 pounds. If your TV is heavier than 80 pounds please consider Aeon 45250. This mount will also fit many 32, 42, 46, 55, 60, 65 and even some 70 inch TV's. To make sure this mount will please verify your TV’s Weight and VESA size.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is there a product or install video for this full motion tv wall mount ?**
A: There is actually both! Please visit AV-Express or the AV-Express Yoo Toobe channel to see the product and installation videos. Search for "How to Install Full Motion TV Wall Mount with Long Extension" and/or "Full Motion TV Wall Mount with Long Articulating Arm on Yoo Toobe." contact AV-Express for more details.

**Q: I have a tv alcove that is 2 ft deep. will this mount extend 3 ft out from the alcove, fit my 65" samsung tv, and still have tilting movement?**
A: This TV wall mount has a 32" arm. That is the max distance on the arm. Based on your needs, this is the mount we would recommend. Not many longer ones out there. It does have tilt function

**Q: Planning on mounting a vizio p75-f1. are these really strong enough to hold a 75lb tv fully extended at 32"? can wood studs bear that much weight?**
A: I will hold the TV safely, but I wouldn't recommend leaving the TV extended all of the time. I'd "park" the TV when not in use.

**Q: Why the aeon 45200 169$ and 45250 499$? only difference is the mounting for 24" on center vs 16" on center studs? am i missing something?**
A: It is a pricing error we are working on. Sorry for the trouble.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This One's Built Bull Stout!!
*by B***I on July 29, 2018*

I needed a heavy duty mount to hang my 65" Panasonic plasma. The extra wide mounting plate came in very handy to compensate the weird spacing of my wall studs. Pros: The :mount itself is laterally adjustable across the mounting plate, which allowed me to center the tv perfectly, again, despite the weird stud spacing. The 32" extendable arms allow for a very wide range of viewing angles.: VERY strong mount, highly adjustable, high quality construction. Cons: not the cheapest way to go, Instructions were adequate but just. Hint: the mount comes attached to the mounting plate but can easily be detached by removing six screws and re-attached after securing the mounting plate to the wall. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.
