This is my 4th JBL speaker. And my Second in the Xtreme series speaker my previous being the extreme 3 thats still working fine. These speaker are built to last in my experience all of my JBL speakers have lasted 5+ Years. And I'm a Farmer soo they go through some harsh environments. The Extreme 4 is by far my favorite has deep bass but is also more crisp in the high vocals. And the Battery life is Amazing you truly get about 16 hours at max volume and you easily hit that 24hour Battery life at around 60% Which in all honesty is the volume i use 75% of the time. If you're thinking about getting one just get it.
