I sleep in a power wheelchair, and use the urinal at night. For the female system you have to be able to have a semi-seated position, so I scoot forward on the chair and use it. The material around the "mouth" is some kind of a foam - and it is amazing how clean the whole process is - no drips or spills. I can use the bag about three times, before it has to be emptied. In another review there was a complaint about the odor of the foam rim. I have a sensitive sense of smell, and I had no issues with that. And the odor of urine feels like a thing of the past (as long as the collecting funnel is rinsed occassionally).I used the urinal system on a cross country trip in our van - and never had to get out of the van to urinate during the entire trip. The trip would not have been possible without it. I've told the staff at the ALS clinic I attend, and they were excited to be able to share this with their other patients.Update: I have been using the urinal on a daily basis for six months, and recently ordered one for a back up. The incorrect item was sent, and within hours of my email to the Seller, I received a phone call from the President of the company inquiring about the error. As an apology, he is sending me two urinals as my back up. You can't ask for better service than that! ### ⭐ I'm Chemically Sensitive and Could Not Tolerate the Smell of this Product *by D***L on March 9, 2013* I really wanted to be able to give this product a high rating, but, unfortunately, the foam seal/adhesive around the opening has such a horrid chemical odor that I was not able to be in the same room with it, let alone use it. I even left it out on my deck for two nights to see if the odor would go away. It didn't, and I am reluctantly going to have to return it without knowing whether it would have worked for me or not.I would suggest that the manufacturer find a way to make its product usable by people who are severely chemically-sensitive. I have fibromyalgia, and it would have been such a blessing not to have to drag myself out of bed 5 or 6 times a night to go to the bathroom. I've read very positive reviews on this item, which is one of the reasons I bought it. I should have paid more attention to the comments where some people mentioned the smell of the foam seal.I might add that the cost of shipping is being deducted from my refund, which does not make me happy since this was purchased as a "Prime" item. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Easy to use *by S***Y on April 1, 2017* Pros :No spill when used ultra , Very helpful. Easy to use , Easy to clean.ConsAll the urinals we took had one problem, the bag starts leaking after a use of 2-3 months.feels like the joint at the outlet nozzle is at fault.
