Extremely convenient that the handle is removable and can be used as a hand held or stand mixer. I was replacing a hand held mixer but liked this machine's versatility. Powerful and fast. Two speed settings (slow & fast) with multiple settings on each speed. I would have spent the money for a more well known brand but it isn't necessary. This mixer works great for occasional use (2-3x per week). Make sure the bowl is securely attached to the base because it spins while in use. You will need to use a rubber spatula to scrape the sides of the bowl but I did this with other mixers too. I spent the same amount on this Mixa combo as I did on a Cuisinart hand mixer a couple of years ago that I didn't like nearly as much as I do this one. It is an excellent and light-weight hand mixer, the bowl is good sized and locks into the base, there are plenty of settings, etc. You do need to scrape under the mixing blades and down the sides regularly, to be sure everything is mixed in well. I made a cooked frosting that gets pretty thick near the end of beating and the mixer beat it well for 7 minutes, on less than the highest setting, with no strain at all, even at the end. Nice and lightweight and doesn't take up all of my cabinet space.
