They have a nice feel to them. They do not look like a zippo however they do the same job as a zippo. The insert is not lose like a zippo. This means they don't leak like a zippo and that's definitely a plus. I took the insert out of one of them and put it in my favorite old zippo and it's a little tighter fit than the zippo insert but not to bad. For some reason it even holds the zippo lid closed tighter then the zippo insert. These lighters are more squared with rounded corners than a zippo. They are a great lighter at a great price. I will be getting more them. And yes I definitely will recommend these lighters. I have used and carried a zippo for over 20 years these lighters are my new favorite. They don't look or feel like a zippo knockoff.
