I'm not sure if this was due to being neglantly over-tightened, the red thread locker I found once I finally got it removed or both.. Either way, 3ft breaker bar and my 1/2" impact tha5 will snap studs couldn't get the bolt to budge. Spent half day trying ways to get it out, by then it was getting rounded. Local hardware big boxes didn't have a kit that included 15mm and HF was double the price. Ordered this kit, got it next day and literally had the bolt out in 60 seconds after hammering it on. One thing I really liked about this kit was the option to use 3/8 ratchet or a 6pt wrench (16mm-27mm) on the extractor to remove bolt. I used the two wrench piggyback method for leverage as I was worried that head or internals of my 3/8 ratchets may grenade given how tight the bolt was. Review: They work! - These extractors work perfectly. I was just about to change the oil in a moped when I found the drain plug was almost rounded off. I tried a #17 wrench and it just slipped. I then tried a magic wrench and then a universal socket. No luck, just kept rounding worse. I had just received this Irisfly set by desertcart so I used the #9 and tapped it on. With a good hard twist of my ratchet the oil plug loosened and came off! I replaced the bad oil plug with a new plug! I told my customer to be more careful with tightening the oil plug in the future! It's not gonna be on par with an Irwin set but it will do the job. Don't use an impact, use a ratchet and make sure it's set with some taps from a hammer or your ratchet. Go slow and use even force while applying downward pressure and things will go smoothly. If you have larger, hardened bolts on say a subframe, you may want to spend the extra money on something more robust.
