It is sterling sliver with 10kt gold,REAL GOLD in the middle where the floweres are carved, and the edges of the ring have beading all away around. Now i wouldn't put it in any harsh chemicals or anything just take care of it like any piece of nice jewlery you have and you will be as happy as I am they made it so wonderfully. They worked with me one on one to make sure my ring was exeactly what I wanted. The makers of this ring were one on one with the customer which was me and that makes this ring more special too me because it was made just for me just as I ordered it. Everything I am saying in this review is true and I did cry when I opened the box I really did. If they have other things that are as beautiful as this ring I would love to see them on Amazon.
