... So why not 5☆? Only because of how small and simple deluxe class TransFormers have become despite their ever rising prices. It would have to be perfect to provide enough value to justify a top score. This isn't, but it really is very nice indeed. Car mode: Lovely. Nice old-school Formula style racer from before the days of halos and rooftop cameras. Great sculpt, nice paint details (my favourite design for this mold). Only wish the cockpit was slightly hollowed out or painted black to give the illusion of depth. The bright white plastic panels where there should be a void somewhat ruins the aesthetic. Robot mode: Fantastic. Well proportioned, very stable and posable. Fun transformation and good looking weapons, with multiple ports to mount them on. Only downside is there's a bit too much going on behind the lower legs. Would have been nice if the wheel assembly collapsed in a bit instead of sticking out a country mile. Overall, it is so much fun and looks cool. Better still if you can get a good deal on it! Recommended.
