Even though I didn't pay full price, I will still review it like I would if I had paid full price. Here are my observations:--very lightweight--strong fabric with waterproof qualities--it's storable in its own pocket, which is great for traveling--there's ample space for a day hike or to use as a carry-on bag--nicely constructed but a few loose threads here and there--very little padding in the shoulder straps (it wouldn't be very foldable in its pouch if it had a lot of padding)--there is a chest strap--the zippers work smoothly--the pulls for the zippers are durable--several pockets/pouches to help keep things organizedThe seller mentions that this would be a good backpack for school. I'm not sure I agree with that since textbooks are usually heavy and nowadays students often carry computers or tablets with them. I think the backpack is certainly strong enough to carry a full-size laptop but it offers no protection against being dropped or bumped. As for textbooks, I would worry that the corners of hardback books could wear through the material fairly easily. Otherwise, I can see using this for hiking, day trips, as an overnight bag, for carry-on luggage (except for the computer issue), going on excursions with children who need snacks/changes of clothes/drinks, going to the beach....there are lots of uses for this backpack. If you're not planning to put a lot of heavy things in it, it should serve you well for a long time. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Decent for the price, but doesn't last *by M***K on Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2017* At the time of writing this review, I have owned the daypack about 10 months. At this point, I feel like I have enough usage of the bag to write a proper review. I purchased this pack after a trip to Croatia where my regular backpack was simply too heavy/thick/impractical for immense amount of summer urban hiking we did. However, I have not owned any other daypacks, so have no basis for comparison with other similar products, and write this review as my personal experience/insights.Usage:1. Daily Gym bag - Yes. I've been using this as my daily gym bag, instead of only using it when I travel. I imagine avid outdoorsy people might use it more often, but I am not one of those people. It's not heavy usage - it just holds my gym clothes, and a small toiletry bag. I did not use it to hold shoes.2. Occasional hiking bag - a few bottles of water, snacks, maybe a small outerlayer3. Daypack while traveling - whatever needed carryingPros1. Extremely lightweight - it weighs next to nothing, which is perfect for a daypack.2. Perfect size - small enough to not be cumbersome, with ample space for most daypacking activities3. Cheap!Cons1. It's already starting to fall apart - stitching is starting to come loose. The waterproofing layer is also coming apart in a manner that is similar to rubber cement2. It's not really waterproof - I carry a loofah for the gym showers. I keep it in one of the outside pockets. The inside of the bag consistently gets wet from the loofah.3. Zippers are problematic - they often get stuck in the liner material4. Front pouch should be dual zippers - one zipper is awkward for the front pouch which has an 'n' shape to it. Makes it that much easier for things to fall out when you have to open almost the entire pocket every time.Overall, I think I'll get perhaps 1 more year of use from this product if I do not care about the poor waterproofing aspects. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Served a purpose *by Y***T on Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2017* THis bag served a purpose as I was traveling to Spain for 2 weeks and didn't want to check a bag. I chose this because it was lightweight. It is roomy and held everything that I needed BUT it is very uncomfortable when filled to the rim with things. The straps lack sufficient padding and just aren't comfortable for any long period. I imagine this backpack would work great as a day pack with light things in it.
