I had just over 53K miles on my truck when I did this, and while it wasn't terribly dirty I would think a little more frequent cleaning is warranted. Some other reviews I read seem to complain about the size of the can (5 oz.), I think those are rather baseless as it is clearly advertised as such. Even so, for the DIY person who is not running a shop, even 5 oz. will last for a very long time and for many cleanings. While buying in a larger size might be somewhat cheaper per ounce, you will be paying for a lot of material that may just get tossed at some point due to how old it has become. In addition, the smaller can is much easier to maneuver in the tight spaces in many modern engine bays.
