They are a little thicker at the tail end, which is what you want for it to fall properly on a "drop back" or free fall drop. The finish is excellent. The prism styles have a great reflective quality. Both sides have the same high quality color. There are eyes on both sides as well, and they are slightly recessed to lower the possibility of them getting knocked off the lure.They come without any rigging which is also OK. This allows you to put on either 1 or 2 assist hooks, or going with a treble hook. The size and species that you are after will dictate the correct hook to put on it. It's nice not having to pay extra for it to come with a hook that might be wrong for what you are pursuing.There is a kind of negative review claiming "they are too heavy". The jigs are described as being 30 gram jigs.... and they weigh 30 grams. I'm not sure what they expected a 30 gram jig to weigh?
