Add a metal straw (not included with cup) = no plastic waste! This is NOT a travel in your bag filled with coffee container — you want something leak proof for that. There are a couple of "tricky" things about it, though. I find it a little difficult to collapse back down to compact size. I generally have to fuss with it a bit to get it collapsed down nicely. The other part I have to be careful with is to make sure the silicone lining is pulled over the top of the plastic rim all the way around before I put the cap back on. If there is a gap in it anywhere, it will leak. But if I'm careful to make sure it is pulled over the lip of the rim all the way around, it seals wonderfully and doesn't leak a bit. Overall, I'm quite happy with this cup.
