They work well. There are two zippers, so you first lay your clothes in them and zip up the top. Then you zip the additional zipper to compress them even further. Note: You cannot stuff the bag so full that it's hard to zip the first zipper – the second zipper will not zip. I can definitely fit more in my suitcase than I could before I had these cubes. The sizes have a good variety. It helps keep my clothing organized during trips. The handle is also a nice addition. I've washed them several times and they seem to hold up in the wash. My only issue is that one of the cubes got a one-inch hole on the seam after my first trip. It may have been my fault for packing the cubes too tightly.
