Most likely it will have 1 stick of 4gb ram (thats what mine had) so it will simply be a case of buying 1 4gb stick and popping it in. Although in retrospect i wud recommend buying the 8gb version anyway as it makes good economic sense and wont require u to fit the new ram or track down matching model/speed etc of ram as they wud be a matching pair, so it wud save head work **Q: What year is this model from?** A: I think it's from 2012.
