Vocals are controlled quite well with this unit. I have it crossed at 180Hz on the low end and 5500Hz on the higher end, and, it handles it quite well.Comparison between this driver and an eminence alpha 6c yields a much more pronounced midrange as opposed to midbass.If you have the ability to power these speakers, they can take it.
