I replaced the sensor in my toilet. It flushed fine before, but when I installed the new sensor the valve did not stay open long enough to get sufficient water flow to flush the toilet. I thought it was because the new unit rotated faster than the old unit (I think it does). But, my toilet has a canister style valve, and I realized that where I had positioned the new sensor there was more slack in the chain than before so that the valve did not start to open until the wheel on the actuator was almost at the top. I adjusted the chain so that there was a minimum of slack and now it works fine. I'm pretty sure that if I had a flapper style valve instead of a canister style this would not have been an issue. **Q: I bought a house with this toilet system, it has recently been randomly flushing over and over, Does anyone else have this issue? Recommendations?** A: Yes! Wish i never bought this toilet. Already on my second replacement assembly and its now acting up and randomly flushing the toilet over and over again. Also the magnetic sensor has reversed and keepa the flap opn now. Garbage **Q: Do you have the k-1954 not sold as a kit?** A: No **Q: Someone asked if they could just buy the battery holder. It is no longer available as a standalone unit. Anyone have other recommendations?
