And I'm here to say that my experience with these brushes has been amazing:Quality Tips• Super. Soft.• No shedding. Literally, none.• Retains powders well for application. Especially in the case of eyeshadow (no sprinkling of dust to the sides or below my eyes after use). > This was a bit of problem because I felt like the bristles were retaining more than distributing, so I needed to apply more than I usually would. Since you can always apply more, though, not a big deal. However, it also led to an interesting blending happenstance, which is kind of hard to explain, typing it out... but, basically if you don't clean the brush in between uses of different colors the bristles will blend the colors themselves as you apply. I don't know, maybe comment if you want a further/better explanation.Easy Cleanup• I left some makeup on several of the brushes for WEEKS after a photo shoot (liquid foundation, powder foundation, eyeshadow). I simply rinsed them with Dawn dish soap and the tips were completely white again. No more specialty makeup brush cleaners or soaps for me.Overall• The brushes themselves are extremely light. Wooden handles, maybe?• They're well-made and durable. I have had nice brushes before from the black pro Sonia Kashuk line, Sephora, and Real Techniques.. These are much better, especially the bristles. They are soo soft and dense, they feel like mink on my fingers. The handles of the larger brushes are nice and thick. The brushes feel good to hold. I spent $23 on one tiny eyeliner brush as well as $50 for a jumbo powder brush before. Never again. These are my new fave brushes now. The case they came with was nothing special. Just a drawstring bag.
