I was seeking a well-made open garment with a zipper closure and a pocket that I can wear to walk the dog, hike, garden, etc. in the rain when it isn't cold enough for my waterproof down jacket. This fits the bill perfectly, and I love the way it billows out so I don't need to wear rain pants in a soft shower. Today there was a moderate wind with a decent downpour and I did wear it with rain pants and boots. What a difference it made. No more trying to balance the umbrella and the leash while bending down to pick up poop. I did make one change: I used a two-hole cord clamp at each edge of the open hood hem and strung through a length of cord which ran through the second clamp and back to tie at the other hand. Not the tidiest in appearance but works great and was very quick. I expect this poncho to last me many seasons. It is well worth the asking price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ November Rain Rain Poncho - Ocean Blue, Tall *by S***Y on October 13, 2021* Not yet worn in the rain, but will soon. I am 5'4" and about 165lbs. I ended up with the Tall size after finding the Regular didn't provide the coverage that I wanted. The Regular ended short of my wrists and the Tall covers about half of my hands. The extra length in the Tall size provides coverage in the rear for me if I'd ever want to sit on a wet surface. The Reg size would be too short on me for that. When reaching out, as one would when driving, the tall does not get in the way. My preference was to have more coverage than less. This item feels lightweight, but I trust that it will keep out the wind and rain. It allows plenty of room for ease of movement & layering sweaters underneath - some thing that a jacket can't do. The hood is detachable & has a drawstring to keep it as close as you'd like. I might add my own snap on each side to keep the sides from blowing up & out on windy days. There was no plastic or rubber odor to the garment when I opened the package. Would give 5stars, but I haven't put it to the rain test yet. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Super cute and fabulous for plus size!! *by B***B on April 21, 2017* The company- November Rain answered all of my email questions quickly!They weren't positive it would work size wise, but thought it would - so I ordered it from Amazon to be able to try it and send it back if it didn't work.Pros!It is wonderful! I am plus size(26/28ish), and had a very difficult time finding something that would pack well and fit comfortably - let alone actually be cute! Most of the other women's "plus size" choices went up to a 20/22 or didn't look durable. Or there was the big men's camo hunter gear. Shudder. Lol.They donate 10%to great causes.Handy detachable hood!Cons!I don't love where the sleeve snaps line up on me, but I also don't need them. I can add snaps later if I feel it would be helpful.It is a little pricey, but they sent me a coupon when I went to their web page.Otherwise it's super spacious, and feels very sturdy.
