This pampering product makes a great gift for any impeccably-groomed man who likes to take care of his skin. The silky lotion is a combination skin moisturizer, after-shave balm, and subtle manly perfume. I love that it uses natural ingredients, it's cruelty-free and not tested on animals, and there is a welcome absence of noxious chemical additives like parabens, sulfates and phthalates.The lotion is packaged in a large, soft plastic tube (containing 5 oz or 150 ml, which is a very generous quantity for this type of product). I find the mix of natural essential oils particularly pleasing, and they suit my husband's skin chemistry extremely well. The fragrance tends towards green citrusy tones, with a subtle musky underpinning that remains fresh and natural. It's the sort of thing that can be used on the neck, chest, arms and wherever the skin needs a bit of extra hydration, so it's ideal in the winter when dryness is a problem, but also after swimming, sunbathing, and a shower to balance the skin's natural oils.The list of main ingredients includes all my favourite essential oils, including juniper, bergamot, mandarin, rosewood and incense on a base of skin-replenishing botanical oils (almond, aloe vera, jojoba, argan, olive and avocado, among others). Despite the rich, oily content, it is easily absorbed and leaves no residue (you don't need much anyway). An excellent product for men that can be used every day.
