I used this to integrate an old existing 24v magnetic shear lock into our current building access control system which uses all 12v locks throughout the rest of the facility. This little DC to DC converter saved me $719 by not having to replace that single 24v magnetic lock with a 12v model. It has been working perfectly since installed. It also runs cool as a cucumber.
