I researched and read reviews of multiple pillows with similar features and chose this one due to customer reviews, what I wanted and price. With-in 2 days my neck stopped hurting and I stopped grinding my teeth. There is absolutely no "funky" smell like in other reviews and the pillow is not too hard and not too soft as I read in other reviews. I truly think this type of pillow is trial and error and personal preference.The high quality of this pillow seems durable and the cover is very soft so you can use it with or without an actual pillow covering.
