I've been disappointed with the reel.Bait click was weak when it worked, it later broke. It is designed so the line guide doesn't move during a cast, so if it isn't center it doesn't cast well.My round bait cast reels actually outcast this one.The plus? Gears are still smooth, it is light weight, and looks nice. Clicker is reported to be really low or defective in many reels but mine is plenty loud enough for its intended use. The clicker itself is nice and sensitive too which could be key in situations where fish respond to even the slightest tension and drop the bait. Price point is also nice. You could usually spend 3-4 times as much for similar size reels. This real can do the job and has great value for the money. My only complaint, the quicker it gets in the way when I cast. I have to keep disengaging it, because I don’t need it for casting.
