The "self lubricating" material keeps these pucks sliding smooth and quiet. Unless you're skating the surface of the Moon, I haven't experienced these pucks catching the road. They are large enough where I'm comfortable putting my hand down, but small enough to not be encumbering. They also wear VERY SLOWLY. I expect to get well over a year of use out of a single pair. The previous pucks I used were Sector 9's ergo pucks (which was probably a mistake on my part) and I would go through two pairs a season. The Sector 9 pucks wore very quickly and were incredibly loud.If you're looking to replace an old pair of pucks, I 100% recommend Ojoom pucks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm breaking up with holesom. *by M***O on November 16, 2018* I WAS a long time fan of holesom pucks.
