**Q: This description says it will fit a stihl ms170 yet the oem part numbers state its for a ms180. how does that work?**
A: Works for both. I put one on a ms170.  Works great

**Q: Once I replace the engine, what is the torque setting for the nut mounting the fly wheel onto the engine?**
A: Do not use any type of impact, must be done by torque wrench, by hand. Torque’s are determined by such specifications.

**Q: Do you have a 40mm motor?**
A: My MS180 runs like a top after installing this kit

**Q: Do you need to buy gaskets?**
A: I installed this in my ms 180 c as it was shipped.  I didn't buy any other parts, I'm still using it without any problems.. I'm not sure about my confidence in the piston rod, it doesn't look to me like it was made to last, but its still working..  I've been using it to cut firewood for less than a year, we'll see..
