I was hoping this hair color can lift the brass. It definitely helped alot. This is my hair in 2 different lights after using the hair color. I say #8 is more like an ashy toner than a medium blonde hair color. It barely changed the color but definitely made a good improvement in the amount of brassiness. But if you are buying it since you think this is a vibrant medium blonde like the one on the kit photo, you are definitely wrong. This will make the platinum bleached hair like a muddy blonde which is great if you have brassy hair. But if you have already used a toner and you have platinum blonde hair, this will create a dull muddy blonde on your head.
