I then did some research online. The YouTube videos I watched all pointed to a potential heating element having gone bad. After spending some time refamiliarizing myself with the standard processes in opening our dryer up (I repaired this about 2 years ago due to a roller issue), I then got started with my electric drill.Sure enough -- the coil in the heating element was broken!After reading some reviews, I then ordered this product.While I was waiting for my order to arrive, I took some time in cleaning up our dryer vent using another product which I previously ordered here on Amazon. There were a ton of lint that had built up which caused a strain on the heating element which consequently caused the coil to break.After replacing the broken heating element and putting back all the parts together, our dryer was fully operational again.
