I purchased this in January however by May he wasn't comfortable in it. I will say he grew by leaps however he is still only 19 months old and he is well under the weight limitations for this product but he is a tall (long) toddler as he ranks in the 97th percentile for his age group. In addition to this not being the best for a tall toddler it is incredible hot. When we are running errands once we return home and I'm lifting him from the seat his back is completely soaked. So this indicates to me that this material does not beathe well at all and if you're a family that is prone to long drives or even road trip this is definitely not the seat for you. Leading to the next point. This car seat is HEAVY. Ridiculously so. Having carpal tunnel I am completely unable to lift this car seat and as a matter of fact I couldn't even install it so it was really clear once we unboxed that this would be the carseat for my husbands vehicle. It didn't even dawn on me that I could return this and once I thought about it I missed that return window but this car seat is definitely not a keep. It swallows the back seat and even in our brand new Murano (which is huge) I find that in rear facing mode the passenger seat needs to be pulled forward more and front facing provides a barely discernible difference because the seat is just enormous. Front facing if your toddler is tall their legs will dangle. ALOT. I purchased this because it was billed as a carseat that grows with your toddler but my son has had is all of 5 months and he hates to be put in this seat. At times it's a fight and he cries. However he LOVES the Diono Radian and even does a happy dance when he's in it because it offers better support for his legs and the upright position is super comfy from my little giant.In short - this is pass for me and I wouldn't recommend it to others. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Big and heavy *by L***N on Reviewed in the United States on October 9, 2019* Overall this seat is pretty good. This is our second vehicle car seat so isn’t used daily. But there are definitely pros and cons.Pros- super easy to secure to car with the clips.Con- our other seat has a self tightening belt connecting to the car and this one does not. So you have to pull the strap as hard as you can to get it tight and I feel like it’s never really tight enough so it moves around quite a bit.Pro- it does recline a good amount while forward and backward facing.Con- it’s a large seat so in our suv and truck you struggle with actually being able to recline this whole the seat is backward facing.Pro- it seems spacious but secure for my ChildPro- there is a plastic block on the bottom that you fold over when backward facing so the seat sits correctly and you don’t need a pool noodle or Towel under it. You can move this when you switch to forward facing.Con- the buckles tighten by the neck/shoulders and sometimes give my child a mark on her neck if she pulls them quickly to get it loose.This seat works as a second seat but I’m not sure I would purchase it again. I would definitely have returned it if it were my child’s main seat used daily. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love it! *by K***A on Reviewed in the United States on June 18, 2020* This car seat was just what I wanted for my son! My two daughters have car seats that are straight up and when they fall asleep their heads always hang forward and I couldn’t stand that! Who wants a kink in their neck or have to sleep that way. I tried the head bands and they seemed really uncomfortable for them and didn’t always work. So I got this for my son as a baby hoping it would eliminate this issue in the future when he sits front faced! I’m writing now to say it has! So now I would like to get two more for my girls.
