It can add a few degrees to a summer bag I use it with my 7 degree comfort limit bag as it extends its range a bit. It's comfy and soft, and it helps keep your sleeping bag clean. Once I camped out in a heatwave and used just this and it was great . I like sea to summit products, and lots of my sleep setup stuff is from them.
