The bear is wrapped in lovely stayin wrapping and is vacuum sealed. It takes about a minute or so for it to expand. I was a little worried that it would feel like a cheap stuffed animal one would get at a carnival but it's not. The bear is soft and fluffy. It is a little weighty, but then again that comes with it being slightly bigger than an elementary student.If you wish to remove the bow (I did), it is sewn in with a stay so you need to carefully cut the thread and out it goes.My sole caveat is the ridiculous legs that are a bit out of proportion.
