Put half of butter and lil bit of salt in before it Boils. Add Pastina and herbs when boiling. Bring down heat to a simmer. (Should sound like ur popping one of those pop it fidget toys) Cook until most of chicken broth has been absorbed. Put in rest of butter with cheese and pepper. I add herbs in with pastina so it absorbed the flavor more. I also add a bit of Penera Breads Creamy Chicken Wild Rice Soup that I get from the grocery store. Occasionally I'll throw in some shredded carrots and spinach for some extra veggies right before I add in the pastina. Although if you add veggies add a lil extra broth for the veggies.
