Cocoa powder can sometimes mess with me, so I am thinking was the flavor not the shake. I think I like them. I drink maybe 1 a week because they are so pricey. It makes me wonder why I have tried ensure.... they look like the same thing. I might have to give ensure a try. I really wish these were made with Stevia. I can handle Stevia, but my stomach can handle only so much sucralose. It is sad you charge so much and yet you are basically Ensure... And why do I have to consume in 12 hours? ------------------------- Update: ok the chocolate flavor and thickness is getting easier. I am still adding water to it to water it down, but it is drinkable to me. Blood sugar did ok the second time, but I had only half of it instead of the entire bottle. Jury is still out. I really wish this was made with Stevia and not sucralose :(. My stomach doesnt like fake sugars except it handles Stevia the best. So this might be a deciding factor as well. ------- I was eager to get this so I am eager to review. The taste and thickness is not for the faint at heart. I found it much more tolerable drinking 1/5 of it, adding water to it, shaking it good, drink some more, add a bit more water, and then it wasn't so thick and it became more tolerable.
