Going by the written description my painting should have fit with ease. Well, even without the back cover it was still an 1/8' shy. If I wanted to use the back cover (which I do) the frame will hold 1/2" depth canvas maximum. On my notes while placing the order I made it very clear that I don't want the frame if it won't take 3/4" while using the backing. I was told they would not cancel the order. I'm grateful I had a 16X20" 1/2 " print that needed a frame. Buyer beware.
