## Questions & Answers

**Q: Are the bolts plated or are they stainless steel?**
A: They are not stainless I bought one about a year ago it still works good haven't had problems with the bolts I have taken it on and off a few times

**Q: Can this be installed over solid pipe or does or would you have to cut the pipe in half and slide the brace over the pipe?**
A: You could possibly disassemble it and get the parts over the pipe. It would take some work to get the clamps over the pipe and some c-clamps to close them enough to get the bolts in. 

Not designed for it, but with some work it could be done.

**Q: Are bolts and nuts made of steel or plasticine?  One reviewer said plasticine.**
A: Plasticine is a kind of modeling clay. It was a joke. The bolts used are either low-grade steel, or the reviewer managed to damage the threads by using much more torque than was needed.

It’s a lot cleaner looking than the clamps i had previously and decent for the price but, even though the listing says its a 2 inch diameter sleeve, it is, but the supplied hardware is not the correct length to properly clamp together. In my honest opinion, I would only recommend this if you are the type of person to keep spare nuts, bolts and such, just incase you buy something like this as i had to use a longer set of bolts as again, the supplied ones are inadequate size.
