When you first turn your clippers on, listen to the sound of the blades, then hit it with a little of the spray - you will notice a big difference in the sound as the lube gets in and loosens it up. **Q: Do you need the andis oil or can you use this w/o it?** A: No. This is a lubricant. I have used this product for ten years and never with oil. Still using same clippers as well. Originally recommended by a barber. **Q: How do I use this?** A: While using my electric pet groomer, I periodically spray across the blade and head, to cool it down and prevent burning my pet.
