I already own a set of fleece pants but they are bulky, fit poorly and are only viable if you are wearing a fitted underlayer and cost 3X.This set of pants fit my frame(32-33W/29inseam) very well. They turned out to be exactly as described. They are light and flexable but still very warm. Have not used them in the rain but have worn them while working in sub 20F temperatures. They are less warm than fleece pants made with thicker shell materials such as jeans and canvas but not by much. You should expect to give up something for its strengths. They do break up the wind, on those sub 20 days. When I wore them, we had 20mph winds with faster gusts and I was comfortable. Pockets are well made, not to deep or shallow and zippers dont snag.I liked them enough I bought a second pair.
