Elastic band enables greater capacity than many mechanical wallets, but plate could potentially catch on pocket. Offered in many colors it seems, I got the black on sale, was much more affordable than a similar one I replaced. Small and compact, many of these have a fold out section, this one does not and makes it much thinner. With a drivers license, a store card and three insurance cards, mine is less than .75 inches thick. The mechanical component broke on my last one after over a year. I would imagine this should perform as well, as long as you don’t try to put too many cards in there.
