I agree it may cause those, if you are sensitive and or older 60 + may I suggest some sort of stretch band version of this. But for me adding this to my home gym ensemble, was a great buy. When used properly it mimics a chest fly machine and I love the way it targets the pectoral. Amongst my routines adding this in is the perfect way to get the chest pumped and I can already see new definition forming after a week of use. It's great. I read in previous reviews as well , that this device leaks as it uses some lubricant based hydraulic to make resistance . If it leaks I will update for qc issues. But so far so good. If you needed something else to be a cherry on top , for your chest workout this is worth the 50 bucks. It did hurt my tendons , but after a couple days not so much. Just don't hyper extend, and hold a comfortable formation while using, if you find yourself struggling , turn down resistance don't be a try hard.
