This book is most useful for people wanting to know from when the markets will typically manifest their highs and lows, or those waiting for the right time to buy or sell real estate. If you're in your 20'sor 30's and beginning to invest for retirement or plan for buying a home, this is a book that gives you an advantage, a far better shot at retiring in your 60's without counting on Social Security being there as your primary income.McWhirter's work dates back to the 1930's and continues to show how financial market cycles continue relatively exclusive from the government and the Federal Reserve. The author doesn't embellish or obfuscate, or promote a political point of like many other books by Financial Astrologers - quite the opposite. She illustrates how business cycles operate regardless of who occupies the White House.
