It only weighs 20 pounds. It is located on the other side of a standard size coffee table and is shorter than the table. If needed it can stand upright on its handle bar. When received it was mostly assembled but the final assembly process had to be completed. All the parts and tools needed for final assembly was included and the assembly process was easy. The screws are all labeled, and the wrenches are included. It took about fifteen minutes to put together. It's comfortable to use and easy to adjust the resistance level. As others have noted, it doesn't store quite as neatly as the picture suggests. It does stand up, however there's no way to collapse the handlebar, and the footprint is about 20"x20".
