The amount per serving is 0 because of the rounding regulation of the FDA. We use a really small amount of salt and only because it is part of the traditional recipe. In order to give you an idea, we use around 0.5 percent of salt in our blend so if you take a teaspoon of our blend and use it, about 0.5 percent of it is salt.
