I rinsed the glass and let it dry. Well not exactly dry. I put it in a colander, dumped it on a towel and then I spread it out. I turned the flames on and it dried pretty quick. I used gloves. Well not really, my husband did. He spread them and turned on the flame. But the gloves protected his hands from the sharp glass. The glass is so reflective. I sat mesmerized like a moth to a flame. It was so mesmerizing it did attract a large red insect that got a little to close and fell into the flame. He didn't sparkle so much. But, the glass was easy to install. Worked as promised. I give it a 10 out of 10.
