Review: These bags are good quality, several sizes available! - I’ve compared SPLF to another leading non-plastic bag brand but these are my personal favorites. I clean them by hand with a dish brush and dish soap and so far are lasting just fine. This brand closes fairly easily and keeps its shape. Now we are using primarily SPLF bags as opposed to throw away plastic ziplock bags, in the long run saving money. These bags are non-toxic and sturdy. I highly recommend them as an alternative to throw away storage bags. Here’s my “now storage bag drawer”, no throw away bags! 95% SPLF bags!!!

These freezer bags are seriously high quality—thick, durable, and feel like they’ll last forever. I’ve used them for everything from freezing fruit to storing leftovers, and they’ve held up beautifully without leaks or weird smells. That said… the closure is no joke. It seals tight—which is great for keeping things fresh, but less great when you’re trying to pry it back open with one hand while wrangling a toddler or slippery ingredients. I’ve definitely had to do the freezer bag version of a tug-of-war a few times. Still, I’d rather it be too strong than too flimsy. If you don’t mind a little extra muscle to open it, these are an awesome eco-friendly upgrade to single-use bags.
