A: DuPontTM RootBarrier Pro is made of a very strong nonwoven, 100% polypropylene fabric with a waterproof coating. It can be installed vertically or horizontally.

**Q: Does this work with knotweed?**
A: Japanese knotweed can be contained by a root barrier, but it has to be several times deeper than this one, and placed several metres away from the stands.  Really do your research before tackling Knotweed.  By the way, it doesn't produce viable seeds - as yet.  It spreads and multiplies via its rhizomes, but also by accidental redistribution of the stems, even a tiny fragment can regenerate.
