If a few are left and bait is all consumed then they would survive to repopulate. I am using on highly infested apartments and have been using for about a month and it is working wonders. I add additional bait every two weeks to keep the pests in strong supply. The tenants don’t help much with cleanliness so this is amazingly killing off the population if enough is put out. I am using the method of putting a strip of bait down the diagonal fold of a 3 inch square of wax paper and folding like a taco. Then you place these homemade bait stations everywhere where bugs are hiding and living. They eat right through the paper completely devouring the bait. They love the stuff, and then you don’t have to stick bait directly on surfaces which is messy. It works well and is described on the Syngenta website.
