The OEM key fobs stay in pristine condition( Have 2 OEM) bought an extra OEM when my original OEM case failed. Used the internals(from the original OEM) for the Chevy key fob I bought on Amazon. Quality is good, but not as good as OEM. But OEM electronics and battery fit perfect. ### ⭐ It is not drop-in *by J***W on July 29, 2022* I do not recommend this replacement key fob. It is advertised as a drop-in replacement for the factory fob. The electronics and battery dropped in fine but the lugs on the key button and notches on the plastic case molding did not line up with the factory key way. As a result, the button did not fit in the factory key way and factory key did not properly align in the fob (see photo). Furthermore, the spring in the replacement fob is substantially smaller and weaker than the factory spring. The fob functions and the key does fit in the ignition and door. The key does not spring open when the button is pushed (see photo). Also, two minor inconveniences, there were no instructions for opening or replacing the fob, and the Chevy emblem had fallen off the fob in transit (see photo). Neither of these is a major issue but indicative of poor quality.
