Review: Works great - We needed a new dehumidifier for our large basement, which is VERY damp. I got this one because of the metal exterior. It's very sturdy and does a great job. Once we got it down the basement steps, it was easy to move around, even for the older people in the house. We hooked up the drain tube and use the automatic draining feature. With that feature, note that it doesn't drain constantly - it waits until it is getting full and then whooshes all the water out at once. But you can force it to drain if you need to by pressing the right button. You can program it for a target level of humidity, and it also tells you the current level of humidity, which is interesting to know. It's a big improvement over our old bottom-dollar plastic dehumidifier.

This dehumidifier works and works well. It is heavy. Set up is minimal. Plug it in, set it, and walk away. Took 64*F 3,600 sq ft basement from 72% humidity to 40% humidity overnight. (I used a separate fan to keep the basement air circulating.) It maintains the 40% without a problem. The solid build makes me hopeful about the future.
